Turbo: High-Speed Monitoring and Control
"Turbo" is a powerful, multi-gigabit application monitoring and control solution for intelligently allocating bandwidth to optimize WAN connectivity and for managing connectivity for thousands of remote sites. "Turbo" allows customers to see what's running on their most critical links and gives them the tools they need to protect key applications while applying the right level of priority to less critical traffic such as P2P and other recreational applications.
Packeteer will be hosting two Webinars for partners on January 21, 2008 (8:00 am and 5:00 pm PST) to provide more details on "Turbo". Registration information for the webinar will be in the January PacketFlash. In the meantime, click here to see a preview of "Turbo".
iShared/iShaper Release 3.7
This release was made available to partners on Monday, November 12, 2007 and to customers on Tuesday, November 20, 2007.
The new features in v3.7 are:
WDC enhancements
- Improvement in throughput (~15 Mbps)
- Email Optimization - 70 to 90% data reduction on redundant MS Exchange & Lotus Notes send/receive traffic
Installation & Deployment Improvements
- Server Auto Discovery
- CIFS Optimization for Domain Controllers & Domain DFS
- iMS Auto-configuration features
- Auto-deployment workflows now possible by leveraging these three improvements.
